About this dive site

This dive site is located near Küssnacht am Rigi, heading towards Brunnen. It’s accessible from a parking area situated on the right side of the road shortly after the Kindli swimming pool. The area offers the possibility to observe common freshwater fish such as Egli, perch, and rudd. A winding path leads down from the parking lot to the grill area; entry is possible in both directions. For experienced divers, the 'Felsnadel' (Rock Needle) presents an interesting challenge, reaching a maximum depth of 12 meters. To reach it, descend at right angles to the shore, following the terrain. The needle can be circumnavigated twice to its top using compass navigation in open water. Upon completion, exit either left or right of the shore. Caution is advised when ascending after the dive; a rapid ascent could lead to DCS (decompression sickness).
