About this dive site
This dive site, located in Rütenen Park near a beautiful sculpture, offers a unique underwater experience. The park features amenities such as picnic areas, restrooms, and an occasional snack stand (weather permitting). Parking is available but requires payment. Due to the risk of rockfall, a significant section of the wall has been closed to divers; it’s marked with warning signs and safety lines beneath the surface. Divers should enter at the sculpture and proceed to the right, reaching depths of approximately 11-18 meters where they will discover a Förderband (conveyor belt). Further south, you'll find several submerged tree stumps. The area provides varied underwater landscapes; in summer, abundant seagrass meadows thrive, while spring brings sightings of spawning Eurasian otters and frogs. It’s worth noting that this site is subject to occasional current changes.
