About this dive site
This dive site is located between Arth and Immensee, with parking available on both sides of the road. Diving is prohibited from October 15th to December 15th at Strick due to spawning saiblings. The area offers a chance to observe typical freshwater fish such as egli, hectors, trutschen, sunfish, and kamber crabs. Access to the lake is via a ladder and railing. The lake bed is relatively flat in the shoreline area, sloping gradually downwards. Dives are typically conducted towards Arth at shallower depths until reaching the wall, consisting of two distinct walls – one topping out around 24 meters, with the second beginning around 30 meters. This dive site caters to both beginner and advanced divers, particularly in the shallow area where kamber crabs can be observed. The shoreline features interesting constructions, offering opportunities to spot sunfish and juvenile fish. Note that spawning saiblings restrict diving during October-December.
