About this dive site

This dive site is located on the north east coast of Koh Tao, within a large horseshoe shaped bay offering some protection. Hin Wong Bay is known for its extensive coastline and abundant marine life. It provides a diverse underwater experience with numerous routes to explore, making it ideal for both novice and experienced divers. The southern side of the bay is particularly well-suited for snorkeling, boasting an incredible array of fish including thousands of fusiliers, rabbitfish, various parrotfish species, and sergeant majors. A fascinating cave system is also accessible in this area. The shoreline features granite boulders that have fused with coral, creating a vibrant underwater landscape teeming with marine activity. Black tip reef sharks are frequently observed at Hin Wong Bay, especially during certain times of the year. The bay's natural beauty and diverse ecosystem offer an unforgettable diving adventure.
