About this dive site
This dive site is located in Kata Beach, North Phuket and is widely recognized as one of Thailand’s premier shore diving locations. It's often described as a ‘must-do’ destination for divers seeking an accessible and rewarding experience. The shallow waters and gentle conditions make it ideal for comfortable, extended dives without requiring a full day commitment. This site consistently attracts a remarkable diversity of fascinating marine life, earning its reputation as a prime location for spotting sought-after creatures. While not typically a habitat for juvenile species or smaller invertebrates like nudibranchs, shrimps, crabs, or squid, the reef offers an abundance of macro critters. Visibility frequently reaches up to 20 meters, although an average of 10 meters is more common. This ample visibility allows divers to explore along the reef’s edge and out into the sandy areas, constantly discovering a wide array of intriguing marine organisms. The best time to experience this dive site is during Phuket's dry season, from November through April.
