Racha Yai, also known as Raya Yai or Raja Yai, is a popular dive destination near Phuket, Thailand. Located approximately 15 kilometers south of Chalong Bay, it offers year-round diving opportunities with shallow bays and reefs descending to a maximum depth of 25 meters. The island is an ideal location for introductory dives and scuba refresher courses, as well as enjoyable excursions for all skill levels in clear water. A noteworthy feature is the Hurraby wreck situated in Bay 1, providing a valuable site for training dives. This wreck offers a fantastic opportunity to experience wreck penetration under careful supervision.
