About this dive site
This dive site, known as Twins, is located to the south of Koh Nangyuan. It’s a popular destination offering a diverse underwater experience. The area features three prominent pinnacles extending from east to west along the coastline of Koh Nangyuan. These are complemented by two large groups of boulders, abundant with coral growth, and a collection of deeper rocks further west.
The site is well-suited for introductory scuba diving due to its sheltered location and relatively gentle depths. The maximum depth reaches 18 meters at the westernmost pinnacle, while the eastern side descends to 6 meters. Marine life thrives here thanks to the protection provided by Koh Nangyuan’s northern island from wind and wave action during monsoon season. Expect to encounter a vibrant array of tropical reef fish, including the bright yellow butterflyfish, blue-ringed angelfish, and longfin bannerfish. White-eyed moray eels are often found hiding amongst the coral formations, particularly on top of the boulder corals which frequently display colorful Christmas tree worms.
