Egesub Freediving

This dive site, Egesub Freediving, is located near Alacati Port in Türkiye and is easily accessible by a short 5-minute boat ride. The site is characterized by its crystal-clear waters boasting exceptional visibility, reaching up to 35 meters. The maximum depth is 13 meters, making it suitable for freedivers of all levels. The seabed is relatively flat with an average depth of approximately 6 meters, providing a safe and comfortable environment for training and exploration. The underwater landscape is teeming with life. Bait fish are abundant around the freediving buoy, attracting larger predators such as amberjacks. Dolphins are also sighted occasionally, adding to the excitement of a dive. While the site doesn't boast extensive coral reefs or elaborate rock formations, the concentration of fish life makes it a rewarding experience for both macro and wide-angle photography. The best time to visit is during the summer months (June-September) when the water temperature reaches a pleasant 24 degrees Celsius. During the winter months (December-February) the water temperature is still comfortable at 18 degrees. However, it's always advisable to check the weather and sea conditions before heading out. Remember to always dive with a buddy, respect the marine life, and practice safe freediving techniques.
