About this dive site

This dive site is located opposite Martini Wall and features Inch 2, an artificial reef sunk in 2002. Donated by Inchcape Shipping Services, this surface supply vessel lies upright on a sand sea floor. After Cyclone Gonu in 2007 damaged the wheelhouse, it’s affectionately known as the ‘big mettle canoe’. It's a popular destination for divers due to its abundant marine life, including numerous species of Nudibranchs – at least twenty new ones have been discovered. Shoaling Fusiliers and massive Puffer Fish are also commonly seen. Divers may even attempt penetration into the wreck up to 20 meters deep. This dive offers an engaging experience exploring a fascinating artificial reef.
