About this dive site
This dive site is located on the shores of Loch Lomond. It’s a relatively shallow freshwater dive, beginning around 3-5 meters below the surface. Divers can explore a small wall featuring flecks of 'fool's gold,' providing an interesting visual element. Continuing downwards to approximately 15 meters will lead you to the back of Tarbet Isle. This area boasts intriguing boulder formations and the unique shapes created by the island itself, offering opportunities for exploration. The water is home to various freshwater fish; however, encounters are not guaranteed. Due to boat traffic from pleasure craft and Loch Lomond cruises, a dive-specific submersible marker buoy (DSMB) is highly recommended during ascent.
