About this dive site
This dive site offers two distinct dives. First, there’s the "pipe," a vibrant area teeming with marine life and featuring impressive visibility up to 30 meters. Diving this location is best done just before slack water due to currents; you'll find the pipe starting at a depth of approximately 8-10 meters. Continue along the right side of the pipe until you reach an attached rope at 30 meters, where careful checks for strong down currents are recommended. The wreck of the SS Kintyre lies further on – descend to approximately 32 meters to find the bow, and continue past 45 meters. This site has been submerged for over a century, preserving much of its original structure and offering an intriguing exploration opportunity. Advanced dive planning, including considerations for deco and gas management, is highly advised. The wreck is mostly intact, providing ample opportunities for underwater discovery.
