About this dive site

This dive site is located at the Ft. Pickens Jetties, a popular shore diving location in the Florida Panhandle. Easily accessible via the north seawall steps west of the fishing pier, it's also recognized as one of the area’s primary locations for SCUBA training. The rocky structure provides a rich and diverse underwater environment, supporting a wide array of marine life including Grouper, Snapper, Flounder, Guitarfish, Sheepshead, Red Drum, Stargazer, Porcupine Puffer Fish, and many more. The rocks function as a vital nursery habitat for various tropical fish species, with notable residents such as Gobies, Blennies, Damselfish, Jawfish, and numerous others. This aquatic preserve offers an engaging diving experience.
