About this dive site

This dive site is located at Naga-Waukee Park, accessible via a short walk from the public beach. Divers begin their journey by driving to the beach house, dropping off gear, and then walking back along a marked path to the shoreline. The area offers an interesting underwater experience due to a rapid drop-off just past the roped-off swimming area. A popular dive is exploring approximately 30 to 35 feet of water parallel to the shore where you can discover several concrete statues, a keg, and other submerged items. For those seeking more expansive dives, venturing further out into the lake reveals discarded boat parts and occasional lawn chairs. The maximum depth explored in this area is around 35 feet.
