About this dive site
This dive site, known as Rocky Road, is a unique artificial reef constructed from approximately 200 limestone boulders. These boulders average three feet in diameter and create an intriguing underwater landscape. The reef was privately built and isn’t part of Collier County’s official Artificial Reef program. Due to the lack of published coordinates, visitation by recreational divers and fishing activity is relatively low. Despite limited traffic, this site offers a more natural marine environment compared to many other dive locations near Marco Island. It presents an interesting exploration for divers seeking a less crowded experience.
