About this dive site

This popular dive site, operated out of Hideaway Island, earns its name from the large schools of curious Bat Fish that often accompany divers on their exploration. The topography consists of a flat reef top at a depth of 12 to 14 meters, which then gives way to dramatic walls that plummet to over 50 meters. This structure makes it a great multi-level dive, though divers must have good buoyancy control when exploring the deeper walls. In addition to the resident Bat Fish, lucky divers may also encounter White-tipped reef sharks patrolling the area.
