About this dive site
This dive site is located within the Merri Marine Sanctuary, a protected area where taking marine life is prohibited. It offers a diverse underwater experience with features such as boulders, channels, overhangs and swim-throughs. The area is known for its abundant fish population, along with crayfish and fascinating shark species including Wobbygong Sharks and Port Jackson Sharks. Due to the potential for strong currents and surge, diving here is best undertaken with an experienced local guide who understands the site's conditions. It caters to divers of all skill levels, provided that suitable weather and tidal conditions prevail – specifically, low tide combined with light North or North Easterly winds and minimal swell. This site’s varied terrain creates a challenging but rewarding dive.
