About this dive site

This dive site, located in a small park within Howe Sound, offers a unique diving experience. It’s a local favorite with a reputation for both beauty and a touch of controversy. Divers can explore a protected bay or venture out to a sheer wall nearby. The area is known for its numerous crevasses, which frequently serve as habitats for octopuses – they are often spotted here. You might also discover decorated warbonnets nestled in the smaller cracks within the walls. At deeper recreational depths (80 feet and beyond), large boot sponges and cloud sponges can be found. The park’s access point involves a longer walk to the water compared to Whyte Cliff, but it's not excessively long. Entry is similar to that of other sites in the area. Visitors should be considerate of the local residents, keeping voices down, especially after dark, and exercising modesty when changing. Parking is paid and enforced. Note: Equipment drop-off is available at the gate to the park, but vehicles must return to the parking lot.
