Porteau Cove

Porteau Cove is a popular dive site suitable for divers of all levels, from beginners to experienced enthusiasts. Located near the parking lot, the site offers convenient access with stairs leading down to the water and a nearby dive map detailing points of interest. The area features four wrecks, three of which are easily accessible. A fire hose runs from the first marker buoy to the third wreck, simplifying navigation. Divers should note that scuba diving is not permitted using the boat launch due to potential hazards from boat traffic and floating logs. Fishing and crabbing are also prohibited in the marina. This dive site is known for its beauty and abundant marine life, making it a must-see destination for local divers.
