Elphinstone South

This dive site, Elphinstone South, is an offshore reef renowned for its exceptional marine life and dramatic underwater topography. Oceanic whitetip sharks are a major attraction, along with manta rays, barracuda, and a wide variety of other fish species. Healthy hard and soft corals cover the reef, creating a vibrant and colorful landscape. The best time to visit Elphinstone South is October, November, and December, when oceanic whitetip sharks are most common. Strong currents can be present, making this dive more suitable for experienced divers. For divers and freedivers, good buoyancy control and experience with currents are essential for a safe and enjoyable dive.
