About this dive site

This dive site features a dramatic promontory, the Calafuria cliff, rising to 11 meters. A cave system cuts through the promontory from north to south; entry into this cave is recommended only for experienced divers and those with appropriate certifications due to the muddy seabed in the initial section, which can be hazardous. The cave itself extends approximately twenty meters, with an entrance at 25 meters and an exit at 18 meters. For less challenging dives, exploring the promontory's contours offers multiple levels of difficulty depending on certification level. The area is rich in marine life, including red coral, parazoanthus, sponges, leptosamnia, nudibranchs, and lobsters. A remarkable feature is the abundance of damselfish that create a vibrant underwater spectacle. This location provides an engaging dive experience for those willing to navigate its unique terrain.
