About this dive site
This dive site is located along a rocky coastline that marks the paleo-bed of a river. It offers access for all experience levels, with options to enter directly from the shore or by boat at one of several diving locations. The seabed gently slopes downwards, featuring submerged rock formations abundant with typical Tuscan coral. At approximately 18 meters depth, you'll discover the Red Coral – a true treasure of this dive site. During favorable conditions in the late season, you may encounter schooling fish in the blue depths and along the coastline. Visibility can be affected by the nearby city of Livorno, however, dives are spectacular when winds blow from the Southeast. It’s particularly well-suited for nighttime diving sessions.
