About this dive site
This dive site is located off Marina di Orosei, near Cala Gonone. It features the wreck of the KT 12, a Nazi armed cargo ship that was sunk by the British submarine Safari on May 10, 1943. The vessel suffered significant damage during the attack, with the hull severed in two, separating the bow from the stern. Remarkably, the wreck remains in good condition. Divers can easily observe the stern cannon and even admire the propeller and rudder, both still intact. This dive offers a fascinating glimpse into maritime history and provides an adventurous experience for those interested in exploring wartime shipwrecks.
