About this dive site
Lo scoglio Penna is located at the eastern end of Ieranto Bay, separated from the coast by a narrow channel traversed continuously by boats. The typical dive route begins on the north side, heading east, returning towards the boat via a fascinating fissure situated approximately 6 meters deep, richly adorned with vibrant astroides and parazoanthus corals. During the dive, one frequently encounters ‘stepping stones’ fish such as sea urchins and barracuda. If you explore among isolated rocks at around 20 meters, it's easy to observe the burrows of conger eels, groupers, and dogfish.
