About this dive site

This dive site, known as the Cathedral Cavern, presents a unique underwater experience. It's not a traditional cave but rather an enclosed underground lake accessed through a short tunnel. Upon entering, divers find themselves in a chamber approximately half-filled with water, illuminated by a natural skylight – a hole in the ceiling that allows sunlight to filter through, creating a dramatic and beautiful effect. After exploring this intriguing space for a few minutes, the dive concludes on the adjacent reef slope. The entrance to the Cathedral faces open ocean, meaning visibility and conditions can be strongly influenced by weather patterns.
