About this dive site
This dive site is a fantastic location for muck diving enthusiasts. The exploration begins at a shallow depth of 6 meters, where you’ll encounter impressive Giant Clams – some reaching up to 1.5 meters in width – peacefully filter-feeding within the nutrient-rich waters. As you descend further, you'll transition into a sandy, grassy bottom environment, commonly known as the muck. This area is teeming with fascinating marine life, including Hairy Frogfish, various species of Nudibranchs, Mimic Octopuses, and Wonderpus – if you’re fortunate enough to spot them. The Flamboyant Cuttlefish are also a potential sighting. For an even more immersive experience, consider diving at night, when the Mimics and Wonderpus become active hunters. This site offers a unique opportunity to observe these creatures in their natural habitat.
