About this dive site
This dive site, known as "Ammunition Barges", features two small steel wrecks located adjacent to each other and diverging slightly. These barges, approximately 20 meters in length, rest on a flat sand bottom interspersed with low granite reef outcrops. The wrecks have suffered significant damage and are largely broken up, although sections of hull side plating and frames remain visible. Maximum depth is around 10 meters, with an average depth likely to be approximately 9 meters. The tops of the wreckage reach about 8 meters. The area offers a relatively easy dive for experienced divers looking to explore submerged vessels.
