This dive site, located near the ‘Pinnacle’ area, offers a unique underwater experience. The maximum depth reaches approximately 13 meters on sandy bottoms. The marine environment is rich in diverse sessile and invertebrate life. A prominent feature is the abundance of gorgonian sea fans – specifically *Eunicella* species – found at the base of ridges. Higher up, you’ll discover multicoloured sea fans, topped with red-bait growths. Various other invertebrates encrust the rocks throughout these zones, alongside a range of small seaweed varieties. Navigating the area involves exploring several intriguing gullies and tunnels. ‘The Slot,’ 100 meters south-west from the entry ledge via a short tunnel, is a deep, narrow gully with near-vertical sides that suddenly shallow at the tunnel entrance. A similar gully, ‘Stone Dog gully’, is about 30 meters to the west, featuring several large boulders and strong currents. Further west, you’ll find ‘Red Bait gully,’ a narrower, deeper channel covered in red-bait pods, and another pair of gullies approximately 40 meters away with similar depth but wider dimensions. The tunnel connecting 'The Slot' to 'Stone Dog gully' is mostly within the intertidal zone and presents a potentially strong surge, requiring careful navigation. Photography opportunities abound due to the concentration of invertebrates.
