About this dive site
This dive site, known as The Sunken Mountain, is a remarkable underwater mountain range located south of the islet of El Skull in Jávea. The highest point of this formation reaches approximately 6 meters below the surface. On its eastern side, dramatic rocky cliffs descend to depths of 34 meters, offering captivating views and shelter for multiple families of lobsters. Several immersion routes allow divers to explore the mountain’s varied terrain, including a large arch that spans the range at an impressive 18 meters. This dive is suitable for experienced divers who can comfortably handle depths up to 30 meters and are prepared to use a flashlight or spotlight to fully appreciate its beauty. The area provides excellent visibility when conditions allow.
