About this dive site

This dive site offers an exciting cave exploration experience. The Moon Pool cave, located near Cap d’en Font, provides a unique underwater adventure. The initial descent follows a superb wall to the entrance of the cave at approximately 13 meters below the surface. A corridor, roughly 30 meters long and paved with worn round boulders, leads into the shore. Within this corridor, divers encounter a circular room featuring a large hole in the ceiling. A freshwater halocline presents a transition point before reaching the Moon Pool itself – a small air pocket formed at the end of the passage. Look for conger eel ‘Billy’, cave fish, and shrimp in abundance within this pool. This dive is recommended for experienced divers due to its enclosed nature and potential challenges.
