About this dive site

This dive site is located at Dalby quarry, an easily accessible location suitable for all levels of divers. The maximum depth within the quarry's fracture zone does not exceed 8 meters, making it ideal for beginners. A convenient starting point can be found in a small bay just below the hill leading down from the parking area – here you’ll discover a foundation with a sloping sandy bottom and a small jetty providing space to organize equipment. Wade out slightly further into deeper water, then follow the gentle slope downwards towards the quarry's interior. The quarry edges are characterized by steeply sloping stone ramparts, encircling the site and offering access to interesting features located deeper within. Progressing further into the quarry reveals a smooth, deep seabed. Due to littering concerns, particularly during summer months, divers are encouraged to assist with debris removal for the landowners' benefit.
