This dive site, known as Jutholmsvraket, was rediscovered in the early 1960s and has since been subject to extensive marine archaeological excavations. The wreck was initially emptied and its contents discarded back into the sea. Despite this, significant remains remain visible today, including ship-building details and loose artifacts. It’s a worthwhile dive location near Jutholmen and Dalarö, where you can find glass fragments, ceramics, and remnants from centuries of maritime history in the channel between the islands. Many artifacts recovered from the wreck are exhibited in museums showcasing finds from the Baltic Sea. The wreck lies at a depth of 12 meters and is approximately 25 meters long and 5 meters wide, constructed primarily of oak.
