About this dive site

This dive site, Fralick Cove, offers an accessible and enjoyable experience for divers of all levels, particularly those new to the sport. The entry is easy over a gravel bottom, making it ideal for gaining initial diving confidence. The underwater terrain transitions from gravel to sandy areas interspersed with boulders. Average depths reach 25 feet (7.6 meters), providing ample time for exploration. While visibility can be variable due to runoff, it generally ranges between 20 and 40 feet (6 to 12 meters). Potential marine life includes lobsters and sea ravens – further details on other possible fish species can be found on the East Coast Scuba website: https://www.eastcoastscuba.com/marine-life. Be aware of boat traffic, and it may be beneficial to carry a submersible marker buoy (SMB) as a precaution.
