About this dive site
This dive site offers a nice beach entry, but be aware that it can get busy during the summer months due to its location as a public beach. It's conveniently located near Mill Cove Jetty/Wharf, another excellent diving spot. Parking is available on the roadside with respect for local residents. There are no restroom facilities nearby; you’ll need to visit one of the stores along the 329 highway. Access to the site is easy from any point along the beach, and benches and recycling bins are provided. The bottom consists primarily of sand transitioning to rock formations. Dive depths range from a shallow 5 feet (1.5 meters) to a maximum depth of 40 feet (9 meters), with a gradual change in depth. Visibility typically ranges between 30 and 40 feet (9 to 12 meters). Lobsters are often abundant in the shallows during warmer months. Be mindful of boat traffic, kayak/paddleboard users, and lobster traps present in the area.
