About this dive site
This dive site offers a range of depths, extending from 10 feet to over 140 feet. Recreational diving is limited to 130 feet to ensure safe no-decompression limits. The location provides a varied underwater experience, transitioning from rocky terrain with kelp growth near the shore to sandy bottoms with scattered rocks further out. A notable feature is the presence of chained crates at approximately 50 to 60 feet from the entry point; divers are advised not to disturb these historical artifacts. Navigation is facilitated by a bearing of 120 degrees, followed by a reciprocal bearing of 300 degrees on the return trip. Visibility typically averages between 25 and 30 feet, though conditions can affect this range. The entry is considered difficult due to rocky shores and potentially slippery rocks influenced by tides. Surface conditions may be somewhat choppy due to an open location. Current awareness is recommended as local conditions can result in unpredictable flows. The dive site's location necessitates checking weather forecasts prior to any planned dives.
