About this dive site
This dive site, formerly known as Parrot Fish Caves and now renamed Gigglin’ Marlin due to a sponsorship by a Houston-based dive shop, offers a unique underwater experience. Its primary attraction is a massive cavern with a distinctive letterbox effect – wide but low – accessible through a hole in the ridge and requiring swimming under an arch to emerge. As you explore this cavern, be observant of the dark edges for intriguing marine life. This location is particularly known for its population of Parrotfish, notably the Midnight and Rainbow varieties, which are often heard crunching on rocks before being spotted. Afternoon dives provide a fantastic opportunity to witness parrotfish spawning; look out for two fish breaking from the school, ascending to meet at the top, and then descending back down – a truly captivating display. The site is located in East End.
