About this dive site
This dive site, known as Lost Valley, has a fascinating history. It vanished from records for over ten years due to missing coordinates, only to be rediscovered on a drift dive in the late 1990s. Located within High Rock, this area is characterized by currents, making drift diving the preferred method of exploration. For those new to this technique, guided dives are available, offering confidence and ensuring a safe experience. The site's pinnacles provide vibrant displays of marine life, including schools of stunning Blue Tangs that graze on algae in perfect synchronization—a truly mesmerizing sight. Larger Grouper can also be found along the wall’s edge; approaching them slowly allows for glimpses of their fascinating behavior, often with tiny cleaner fish assisting them. The area offers a unique opportunity to witness the daily routines and interactions within the reef ecosystem.
