About this dive site

This dive site, Tarpon Terrace, offers a unique experience in an unusual location. Named for a narrow passage where large numbers of silvery tarpons gather, they create a spectacular sight as they hover in line, seemingly observing divers with a degree of disdain. This natural gathering spot is located beyond a miniwall and features expansive coral formations – giant, freestanding reefs teeming with life. These individual reefs host diverse communities of sponges, hard corals, and soft corals, all competing for space amidst a vibrant array of tiny, colorful reef fish. A highlight is one coral head that includes a swim-through, adding variety to the dive.

Maximum depth information is unavailable. The difficulty level cannot be reliably inferred from the description; therefore it’s considered Intermediate.
