About this dive site

This dive site, known as Booming Cave, Railway Tunnel and Ghar ix-Xih, is located near Reqqa Point in Billinghurst Cave. The cave offers a unique diving experience with an entrance at 24 meters within a reef wall. It's a substantial cavern stretching approximately 135 meters in length, potentially allowing divers to surface at the end. Most commonly explored over the first 20-25 meters due to its curves and boulders, it can quickly feel like a cave dive as visibility decreases. Diving the entire length requires careful planning, including consideration of a stage cylinder and total underwater time. Access is via ladder, steps, and handrails from shore.
